Gavin
Founder and director of RMS, Gavin, has twenty plus years’ experience as a Private Investigator, Risk Manager and Security Consultant. Experienced in employment investigations and Protective Security Requirements. trained in the role of armed incidents, emergency management and VIP protection.
As a former Detective from the NZ Police, Auckland, he was involved in the investigation of serious fraud, homicides and other major crime. He was a member of the NZ Police Armed offenders Squad whilst also an active Detective and investigator, and trained in the role of armed incidents, emergency management and VIP protection.
Gavin holds a black belt in the martial art of Aikido and a member of the NZIPI (NZ Institute of Professional Investigators). He's licensed with a certificate of authority for Private Investigation, Security Consultant, Personal Guard, Crowd Controller, Property Guard and Security Technician.
Gerry
Gerry spent his early career working as a journalist covering crime, local body politics, and major events. He then spent over three decades in the New Zealand Government Security Sector.
He also has 10 years experience in the private security sector as a private investigator and specialist technical writer with a specialty on provision of corporate and events risk assessments.
He’s licensed with a certificate of authority for Private Investigation and Security Consultant and is a Member of the Criminal Bar Association of New Zealand, the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand, and the New Zealand Institute of Intelligence Professionals.
Allan
Allan’s first significant career was in the New Zealand Police as an Investigator, District Court Prosecutor, Leader and Trainer(Self Defence). He was trained for deployment in VIP/Witness Protection. He then transitioned into the corporate world, predominately in the Real Estate Industry which included overview of compliance and policy. He had a prominent role in a Fashion aligned company and understands branding and intellectual property rights.
Perfectly aligned to assist individuals, companies, lawyers, and their litigation teams for civil and criminal cases including libel and private criminal prosecutions. From locating and interviewing witnesses to preparing or reviewing briefs of evidence and/or reporting to the NZ Police or Serious Fraud Office.
He has the additional capability of providing personal protection and has continued his interest in martial arts, currently studying the art of Aikido.
He holds a certificate of authority as a Private Investigator, Personal Guard, Property Guard and Crowd Controller.
Matt
Providing the technical support for the team, Matt is licensed with a certificate of authority to operate as a security technician and consultant.
Helen
Experienced business administrator providing the administrative support for the team.
